We would like to welcome you and your child to New Horizons Preschool. Our staff takes a personal interest in the needs, growth and development of each child in our care.
We are committed to maintaining a caring and nurturing environment in which children can grow into confident and secure learners.
We provide exceptional academic programs and quality care for our students, as well as the time, attention, understanding, and guidance needed to improve their capabilities, encouraging them to strive for excellence to the best of their ability.
Our facilities are designed to meet the demands of our community's multiculturalism as well as the needs of parents,
who are essential to their children's academic growth.
We offer a safe nurturing environment and an excellent academic program that promotes the physical, social, and cognitive development of children, responding and attending to their needs.
Our teaching strategies facilitate children to develop a sense of
self-confidence and emotional well-being, autonomy and self-
control, responsibility, and trust in others. Children are encouraged to think, question, develop language and literacy, express themselves creatively and respect cultural diversity.
New Horizons Preschool opened its doors in 1996 offering classes for Preschool students. In September 2003 the quality of our service was recognized by the certification of “APPLE”
(Accreditation Professional Preschool Learning
Environment.) Therefore, obtaining the Gold Seal of Quality Care Program.
In October of 2004, we opened New Horizons Preschool II
located in the West Kendall area. The increasing demand
motivated us to open a new facility, New Horizons Private
School offering Kinder to Third Grade. In March of 2023 we
opened New Horizons Preschool III located in the Kendall area. As
we continue to grow, in July of 2023 we opened New Horizons
Preschool IV, which offers education from infants, Preschool, VPK and Kindergarten to third grade.
In addition, our centers offer academic and social services to children and their families with the assistance provided by The
Early Learning Coalition. This has made it possible for us to
assist families with less economic resources in our community.
